Simple things to do with your child, right for their age.
NowKiddy started as a blog about toys. We kept noticing that what children need most is not another toy, but a few good things to do with the people around them. So we turned it around: activities first, with clear steps and things you already have at home, organized by age in months for the first two years.
We draw on Montessori first, and on STEM, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf and Pikler. In everything new we publish, we name a method only when an activity really follows it, link our sources, and say when a toy isn't worth buying. Older articles from the toy-blog days don't all meet that standard yet: we're reworking them one by one. Some links are affiliate links, and we say so wherever they appear.
