Ideas for parents, not medical advice

NowKiddy shares general information about play, activities and toys for children from birth to 6 years. It is written for parents and caregivers.

It is not medical, psychological or educational advice about your child, and it doesn't replace your pediatrician or other professionals. If you are worried about your child's health or development, ask your pediatrician. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

You know your child

Every child develops at their own pace. The ages on NowKiddy are a guide, not a rule.

Before you try an activity:

• check that every material suits your child, especially if they still put things in their mouth;
• read the notes under Before you start, and the sources we link;
• stay with your child, and stop if something doesn't feel right.

You decide which activities suit your child, and you are responsible for supervising them.

Toys and products

We don't sell products. We describe them and link to the retailers that do.

• The age and warnings on the product label, and the manufacturer's instructions, come before anything we write.
• Check for recalls with the manufacturer or your national product safety authority.
• Prices, availability, delivery and returns depend on the retailer. Any purchase is a contract between you and the retailer.

Commissions don't decide what we write. We say when a toy isn't worth buying, and we suggest what to use from home instead.

Accuracy

We check our sources and correct mistakes when we find them. Even so, the content may contain errors or become out of date. If you spot one, please write to us.

Using our content

The texts, images and design of NowKiddy belong to us or to the people who license them to us. You may read, print and share links to our pages for personal, non-commercial use.

You may not copy, republish or sell our content, collect it automatically, or use it to train AI models, without our written permission.

Links to other sites

We link to other sites, such as health authorities and retailers. We don't control them and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Liability

NowKiddy is free and provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damage arising from the use of the site, or from activities and purchases you choose to make.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version, which applies from the day it is published.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country, and you can bring a claim before the courts where you live.
